TYPES OF DONATIONS
HUNGER MEAL DONATION
Not all of us are lucky enough to meet all our needs. May be we all are fortunate to have full day meals but what about others who are able to get at least one meal in a day. So as a humanitarian act let's help them by donating a small amount starting with rupees 150. By this act of nobleness be a role model for the people around you.
MEALS ON THE ROAD
There are people who are wandering in the streets, unfortunate as not even able to get some food even in the end of the day. Being a social being the least that we can do for them is to provide some food to eat in the harsh nights of their life so for this you can donate an amount of rupees 200 for the well being of them. By this humanitarian act at least to an extend we can lighten up their life and also uplift our social prosperity
ORPHAN MEAL DONATION
We all have a family we are born in to, in someway or another they protect, provide, support and will be there for us. But have you ever thought of people who are living their life in an orphanage. What is the most simple act of kindness that we can do for them, if providing them food to eat is something that went through your mind then yes, it is the very first thing that we can do. By donating an amount of 10,000 INR you can help them to meet a daily basic need and can be the support system of them to live a better life
WHY HUNGER HUNT ?
The Global Hunger Index 2021, ranked India 101 out of 116 nations. According to the authors of the GHI report, India’s hunger score has been deteriorating over the past two decades, which is a reflection of the condition of its population in its states. With the pandemic deepening India’s food security crisis, the authors outline how existing institutions such as ICDS, PDS, midday meal schemes and subsidised food canteens, can address hunger and malnutrition.
Hunger hunt is one such initiative with the idea to ensure that a maximum number of people go to bed with their stomachs full, with a feeling of satiation. It's a common sight, especially in the evenings, wherein we can the see homeless destitute, abandoned senior citizens, migrant workers, the disabled people who has made the streets, the roads, bus stations and railway stations their home. Our aim is to feed such underprivileged human beings and pave a path to eradicate hunger and malnutrition. We intend to collect food from certain hotels and restaurants which will be then distributed among the needy, thus minimising the issue of food wastage.
