“Pay ₹2 crore and stop the probe!” – This explosive allegation against an Enforcement Directorate (ED) officer has become one of the hottest topics in Kerala today. “പണി നിർത്തിയാൽ 2 കോടി!” – ഇഡി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെതിരെ ഉയർന്ന ഈ വൻ ആരോപണം ഇപ്പോൾ കേരളത്തിൽ അടുത്ത ചൂടുള്ള വാർത്തയായി. കൊച്ചിയിലെ എൻഫോഴ്‌സ്‌മെന്റ് ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റിലെ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് ഡയറക്ടർ ശേഖർ കുമാർ കൊല്ലത്തെ കശുവണ്ടി വ്യാപാരി അനീഷ് ബാബുവിനോട് 2 കോടി രൂപ കോഴ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന പരാതിയിലാണ് വീണ്ടും വാർത്തകളിൽ ഇടം പിടിച്ചത്. അന്വേഷണം നിർത്തിയിടാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണത്രേ ഈ ഭീമൻ തുക ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടത്. അതിന്‍റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ ശേഖർ anticipatory bail ആയി ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഈ ജാമ്യഹർജി അടുത്ത ആഴ്ച കോടതി പരിഗണിക്കും.
